Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), a national accrediting body for Christian institutions, awarded accreditation to Ivy Christian College in May 2014.
The United States Department of Education (USDOE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) recognizes TRACS as a national institutional accrediting agency for Christian postsecondary institutions, colleges, universities, and seminaries.
The Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) recognizes Ivy Christian College within its database of institutions and programs accredited by recognized U.S. Accrediting Organizations. This means, Ivy Christian College has been reviewed by CHEA or USDOE and meets the quality standards of the respective organizations.
The primary purpose of CHEA recognition is to assure and strengthen academic quality and ongoing quality improvement in courses, programs and degrees.
The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) has certified Ivy Christian College – located at 9401 Mathy Drive, Fairfax VA 22031 – to operate in the state of Virginia. The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia is located at James Monroe Building, 101 North Fourteenth Street, Richmond, VA 23219.
The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) has certified Ivy Christian College (ICC) to offer international students the opportunity to study in the United States. Through this certification, ICC has proven that it possesses the necessary facilities and instructors to engage in course instruction for international students.
